I will be following the guidelines for COVID 19 precautions set out by the College of Physical Therapists of BC in conjunction with the provincial health officer and the centre for disease control.
Screening questionnaire emailed a few hours prior to appointment - required to be filled out online before arriving for each visit.
I will also be talking to each person on arrival about any general health concerns and identifying any reason we should take extra precautions for their treatment.
If anyone has a fever, is having any cold or flu symptoms, is feeling unwell, or has been in contact with anyone who has been unwell, they are asked to stay home. If you have any concerns, please visit https://bc.thrive.health/ and take the self screening test put out by the BCCDC
Extra time between patients to eliminate contact between patients and allow ample time for thorough sanitizing of treatment area
Sanitizing station and hand hygiene for patient and therapist on arrival and departure of each patient.
Following the recommendations of the provincial health officer, I will be wearing a mask for all physiotherapy treatments. Please bring a clean mask with you to your appointment if you have one. If you don't have a mask, I will provide one for you.
MAKE RESPONSIBLE CHOICES
During this pandemic, we all need to make choices about hygiene, social distancing, and contact with others. If you are booking an in-person physiotherapy appointment, please ensure you have made choices that respect the health of your therapist and other patients visiting the clinic after you.
If you have any questions prior to your appointment, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
